It is November and that means the holidays are right around the corner. I am all about keeping the holidays simple this year. I am sure we will host a few meals and have a few get togethers, but I am keeping things easy peasy…and that includes the food. Don't worry though, simple food can be good food! There is no need to stress this holiday season and today I am here to help with a super simple holiday appetizer, Baked Brie with Apples and Salted Caramel.

Did reading the recipe title win you over? Oh, just wait until you taste it. It is even better than it sounds!

You only need six ingredients to make this amazing appetizer. Get out your shopping list and write down: brie, butter, apple, brown sugar, salted caramel sauce, and Stacy's Salted Caramel Pita Chips. Yeah, that's right, Stacy's makes Salted Caramel Pita Chips. They are so good, like too good. The kind of good where you hide the pita chips in the back of the cabinet so your husband can't find them…ha!

Oh, and you can totally cheat and buy salted caramel sauce from the store to make this recipe. If you want to splurge and make your own, I highly recommend our Salted Caramel Sauce recipe. It is easy and pretty much the best thing ever. If you make your own sauce, that will require a little extra work and it will no longer be a six ingredient recipe, but it's worth it. But don't worry, I won't judge you if want to buy caramel sauce! We are keeping things simple this holiday season!

Now, let me tell you how easy this recipe is. All you have to do is put the wheel of brie in the oven so it can get all warm and oozy. While the brie is baking, sauté the apple in butter and add the brown sugar. Remove the brie from the oven and top the wheel with the sweet apples. Drizzle with salted caramel sauce and serve with Stacy's Salted Caramel Pita Chips!
