Spring has sprung and Easter is right around the corner, so today I am sharing a cookie recipe for, Coconut Macaroon Nutella Nests. The cookies are easy to make, fun, and SO festive! The coconut nests are super cute and the Nutella center is divine!
They are the perfect treat for Easter. Add them to your dessert table or place a cute nest at each table setting for Easter brunch or dinner! Kids and adults love these sweet nest cookies!
How to Make Coconut Macaroon Nutella Nests
- We used our favorite coconut macaroon recipe to make the cookies.
- Shape the macaroons into little bird nests and bake them until they are slightly golden brown.
- Let the macaroons cool and decorate them! If you have children, get them to help you decorate the nests. It is a ton of fun.
- Spoon a big blob of Nutella into the centers of the nests and top with candy eggs. I used M&M's Speck-tacular Eggs, but feel free to use your favorite Easter candy. Cadbury Mini Eggs or Robin Eggs would also be good. Oh, how I love Easter candy!
How to Store
Store the nests in an airtight container on the counter for up to 3 days. You can store them with or without the candy eggs.
