Pomegranate Blueberry Floats
Updated June 15, 2020
Cool down with a refreshing Pomegranate Blueberry Float!
Confession, I hate root beer floats. I probably hate root beer floats because I hate root beer. I've never been a fan. I just don't understand why people would ruin good vanilla ice cream by pouring nasty root beer on top.
Anyways, enough about my issues with root beer floats. I do like ice cream and pretty drinks, so instead of making the traditional root beer float, I recently made Pomegranate Blueberry Floats. This is the kind of float I can fully support.
I made Pomegranate Blueberry Floats when our friends stopped by. I didn't have any cookies on hand, shocking, I know, so instead, I got out some glasses and made floats. When you visit our house, you have to have a treat. It's a rule:)
Floats are a great summer treat because they are simple to make and so refreshing!
To make the floats I used Lorina Sparkling Pomegranate Soda, fresh blueberries, and vanilla ice cream. That's it! You only need three ingredients to make these gorgeous floats! I kind of feel bad posting this “recipe” because it is so simple. It's not really a recipe. But I know you will thank me after you take one sip:)
The bright pomegranate soda is sweet and goes well with the creamy vanilla ice cream. I added blueberries because they are pretty floating in the float:) We sat on our patio sipping floats and catching up! It was the perfect summer night.
Savor summer by sipping away on a refreshing Pomegranate Blueberry Float! These floats are perfect for a lazy Sunday too! Enjoy!
