Strawberry Balsamic Salad with Basil and Feta
Updated March 26, 2019
We don't have a huge garden, but we did plant a lot of basil this year. Basil is my favorite herb, I love it on anything and everything. Our plants are finally taking off and I have been enjoying fresh basil wherever I can. I recently made this strawberry balsamic salad with fresh basil and feta cheese. I wasn't sure if these flavors would work together at first, but after one bite, I was hooked.
I love adding fruit to my green salads. My strawberry spinach salad is one of my favorites. I decided to omit the greens and stick to the strawberries for this salad. I added a splash of balsamic vinegar, fresh basil, and feta cheese. The combination was delightful. The flavors are simple, but intense at the same time. If you are tired of the traditional green salads, give this strawberry balsamic salad a try. You will be eating gourmet style in a manner of minutes.
